Our FOXTECH hybrid inverters are engineered for broad battery compatibility to accommodate diverse project requirements and budgets:
Supported battery chemistries include:
LiFePO₄ (LFP) Lithium Iron Phosphate — our premium recommendation, featuring exceptional thermal stability, 6,000+ charge cycles, and deep discharge capability. Our own FOXTECH wall-mounted and rack-mounted LFP batteries are fully integrated with intelligent BMS communication.
NMC (Nickel Manganese Cobalt) Lithium — offering higher energy density for space-constrained installations where compact footprint is critical.
Lead-Acid variants — including Gel and AGM types, suitable for budget-sensitive projects or legacy system upgrades where lithium investment is not yet feasible.
Intelligent BMS Integration: All FOXTECH hybrid inverters feature advanced Battery Management System (BMS) communication via RS485/CAN protocols, enabling real-time monitoring of voltage, current, temperature, State of Charge (SOC), and State of Health (SOH) — all accessible through the inverter's LCD display and remote monitoring APP.
Critical Safety Rule — Do NOT Mix Battery Types: Mixing lead-acid and lithium batteries in the same system is strictly prohibited because:
①They operate at fundamentally different charge/discharge voltage curves and cutoff thresholds
②Their charge acceptance rates, float voltages, and depth-of-discharge (DoD) limits are incompatible
③Mismatched characteristics can cause cell imbalance, overcharging, sulfation, or thermal runaway, permanently damaging the batteries and creating safety hazards
